The Vocabulary Development Module facilitates the acquisition of nouns by requiring the child to select (from one of nine response alternatives) the object that matches the auditory stimulus that was presented on each trial. The child is thus exposed to common terms, organized by themes.

The following themes and tasks are available in the Vocabulary module:

1. House: bathroom, bedroom, kitchen, living room, and backyard words
2. Animals: forest, pets, zoo, farm, and ocean
3. Clothing: winter, summer, and everyday clothing
4. Food: general food, vegetables, and fruits
5. Special Occasions: Christmas, birthday, and Halloween
6. Vehicles
