The Consonants Sounds module contains exercises to help children acquire and improve the ability to discriminate between and identify words that differ in terms of their consonant patterns. This CD incorporates a wide variety of listening exercises.

The following tasks are available in the Consonant Sounds module:

1. Same/different - Stimulus pairs that either the same or different
2. ABX Matching - Match two stimuli that are the same from a group of three sounds (the third sound always matches one of the first two)
3. Oddball - Determine the ‘odd' stimulus from a group of five consonants
4. Identification - Identify the consonant sound presented by association
5. Comprehension - Identify the consonant based upon spoken sentences.
